Membership Development Update -May 2015

The Ambassador Committee, chaired by Sandy McHardy, held an April meeting. The committee continues to work on enhancing the mentoring and retention programs. The Ambassadors recently started a monthly, after-hours networking event. The next after-hours mixer will be Friday, May 1st from 6:00-9:00pm at the Holiday Inn (I-95 & Hwy 50). This of course is a free event and is open to all. Our Ambassador of the Month for March was Melanie LeBlanc of Ace Hardware of Titusville.

We are always actively seeking new Ambassadors, and we welcome anyone interested in promoting their organization and becoming more active in the Chamber. If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to this committee, please contact Dennis Watkins at watkins@titusville.org or plan to attend our next meeting on May 12th.

We would like to extend our special thanks to all our Chamber Ambassadors for the incredible work they do! Their assistance with Chamber functions, welcoming new Members, and Member camaraderie are essential to our success as an organization, and they are tremendously appreciated!

Our Chamber Ambassadors are an integral part of the Chamber make-up, and provide volunteer support at ribbon cuttings, monthly and special Chamber events. They help mentor new Chamber Members, educating them on the many benefits of membership, as well as introducing the newest additions of our Chamber family to key contacts at events. A terrific benefit is the tremendous promotional opportunity it presents for Ambassadors to speak about their own organizations in the process.
