Education Committee Update – March 2018

This year’s College Night will take place on September 24th, 5pm-7pm at Titusville Mall. We will notify the principals and counselors so the date can be added to the school calendar. Students will be given a list of very important questions to ask college and trade school representatives.

We have reached the final stage of the Outstanding Young Adults Scholarship Program for the year. The 18 finalists have been honored throughout the year with: certificate presentation at the Chamber Membership Luncheons, feature in a press release, and listed on the Chamber’s website. They now have the opportunity to submit an essay and compete for the $1000 scholarship. The winner will be announced in April.

The next Education Committee meeting will take place on April 13, 2018, 8:30 am in the Chamber Boardroom.
