Major Thrill on the Space Coast
ATTENTION! Are you looking for a THRILL? The Space Coast might just be your place. Titusville is home to Skydive Space Center which hosts the World’s Highest Tandem Skydive jump. At how many feet you may ask? 18,000 FEET!!!
If this is not enough to get you excited, let’s talk about how this could very well be the most amazing leap of your life. You strap in and head to the plane as you soar higher, higher and even higher into the sky. They walk you to the edge and you are about to jump at the only drop zone in the world overlooking the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral and beautiful beaches along the coast.
As you jump out of the plane, scream and then start looking around you, you will see rocket and shuttle launch pads, landing runways, and get an aerial tour of the Space Center. Let’s not forget about the VAB, or Vehicle Assembly Building, that stands at 52 stories tall and assembled shuttles and still assembles rockets today. In addition to the Kennedy Space Center, you will be gliding over the most biodiverse lagoon in the entire northern hemisphere, the Indian River Lagoon and over the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
When you gently land back on the ground, you will surely be telling all of your family and friends how awesome your jump was and can only be done in Titusville at the Skydive Space Center.
Ready to Jump? Here’s some tips:
- Wear shoes that tie such as sneakers and collarless shirts like a T-shirt.
- Pay attention to the training brief – it Is important information.
- In the plane ride up, prepare to feel some nerves – chat up your team or meditate and charge your batteries.
- After you land, celebrate your accomplishment! Get your high-fives all around and then explore the rest of Titusville.
There is only one thing that is for sure, you can only experience this one of a kind thrill when you #LaunchFromHere.
