Dragon Returns to the Cape

January 21, 2020 – The Crew Dragon has returned home to Cape Canaveral.

“She’s back,” said NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine in a tweet, “The #CrewDragon spacecraft that completed the in-flight abort test has arrived back at Cape Canaveral. After splashdown, teams from @SpaceX & the @usairforce 45th Operations Group’s Detachment-3 rehearsed crew recovery ops before bringing the spacecraft back to port.”

The test was the last major milestone before SpaceX can launch astronauts from the U.S. to the International Space Station.
