Titusville Area Seniors Honored for Achievements in the Classroom and Community 

Titusville, October 4, 2019 – The Education Committee of the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2019-2020 Outstanding Young Adults (OYAs). These 16 students will be honored throughout the school year at the monthly Chamber membership luncheons and will compete for a $1,000 scholarship, sponsored by Community Credit Union and Jess Parrish Medical Foundation.

OYAs are Titusville area high school students, recognized for their performance in the areas of academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, sports, service club participation and volunteer work. The selected students from Astronaut High School, Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School and Titusville High School receive a certificate of recognition along with several congratulatory letters from elected officials. One of the 16 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward college expenses.

The first three – Amaya Alvarez-Rivon, Danielle Marie and Kyle Bramblett – will be honored at the October 9th Chamber Membership Luncheon.  It will take place at La Cita Golf & Country Club in Titusville and features State Representative Rene Plasencia.  Honorees are allowed to bring two guests, free-of-charge.
