Education Committee Update – April 2016

OYA: We received 16 applications from the 18 OYA’s for the scholarship this year. The selection committee met immediately after the regular meeting and selected Allison Hilton from Space Coast Jr/Sr High School. Allison will receive the $1000.00 scholarship from Community Credit Union and Parrish Medical Foundation at the May luncheon.

College Night: We would like to host a College Night in September. We are looking at the 26th or 28th since the south area will have one on September 27th. We will be contacting Searstown property management with the information and request. The organization that promotes the event will be invited to attend the Education Committee meeting in May.
