Education Committee Update – September 2018

Invitations for the 3rd Annual North Brevard College Night (September 24th) have been sent to middle schools, private schools and home schools from North Brevard to Rockledge. We’ve received about 50 RSVPs from universities to businesses offering certificate courses, student resources and career exploration. The list of participants is online at titusville.org/event/college-night.

The 18 finalists for the 2018-19 Outstanding Young Adults program have been identified. Notification is being sent to students and schools this week.  A press release announcing the finalists was also published.

Training for the 18 Student Ambassadors representing North Brevard high schools will take place on Wednesday, September 26​th ​at the Chamber.

The next Education Committee meeting will take place on October 12, 2018, 9:00 am in the Chamber Boardroom.
