Membership Development Update -March 2015

The Ambassador Committee held a February meeting. During the meeting, Sandy McHardy was installed as the new Ambassador Chair for 2015. The Ambassadors also discussed plans to grow the Ambassador program in 2015 and to enhance the mentoring program. The Ambassadors held their first after-hours mixer at Playalinda Brewing Company on January 30th. This free monthly event will be held at various local venues on the last Friday of the month and is open to all. Our Ambassador of the Month for January was Sandy McHardy of Mary Kay Cosmetics & New Beginnings Ministries.

We are always actively seeking new Ambassadors, and we welcome anyone interested in promoting their organization and becoming more active in the Chamber. If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to this committee, please contact Dennis Watkins at watkins@titusville.org or plan to attend our next meeting on March 10th.

We would like to extend our special thanks to all our Chamber Ambassadors for the incredible work they do! Their assistance with Chamber functions, welcoming new Members, and Member camaraderie are essential to our success as an organization, and they are tremendously appreciated!

Our Chamber Ambassadors are an integral part of the Chamber make-up, and provide volunteer support at ribbon cuttings, monthly and special Chamber events. They help mentor new Chamber Members, educating them on the many benefits of membership, as well as introducing the newest additions of our Chamber family to key contacts at events. A terrific benefit is the tremendous promotional opportunity it presents for Ambassadors to speak about their own organizations in the process
