Titusville Area Visitors Council Update – March 2018

The TAVC met on March 15, 2018.  The committee discussed the following:

1. We have potentially scheduled trade show participation for the Professional Travel Agents of North America (PTANA) Florida Night event in May.
2. We have now distributed the third edition of the Stories and Adventures in Titusville newsletter, featuring a blog on the sea turtle nesting season.  It will be included in the Wake Up! newsletter and on the Chamber and Launch From Here Facebook pages.   We would like our members to write more of future issues.
3. We’re building itineraries of activities for 1 and 3-day, 1-2 week and 2 month-long (snow birds) stays in Titusville.  Other options will be handed out at the Chamber booth at KSC Earth Day (April 18th) participation, as suggested activities while in Titusville.
4. The Titusville Welcome Center has received visitors from every state except Hawaii.  We’re pulling together a welcome basket of member discounts to the first resident of the state of Hawaii to walk in.
