Titusville Area Visitors Council Update – May 2015

The Titusville Area Visitors Council (TAVC) met on April 14th.
The Council is working with Brandt Ronat & Co. to market the Titusville area as the place for living, working, and vacationing in Florida. A survey was sent to council members; their input will help Brandt Ronat rework and use our “Always in Season” vacation guide, vacation website, and other visitor resources.

The Chamber has started tracking visitors, referrals and other requests for information to help the TAVC pinpoint our market.
A guestbook will be purchased for the information desk.

There was no quorum so motions could not be passed. However, the following topics were discussed: changing the council’s name from Titusville Area Visitors Council (TAVC) to Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB); holding monthly meetings at different member locations; and preparing for the June meeting with special guest Brandy Hastings, Manager of Marketing Solutions and Sales at Visit Florida.

The next meeting will be held at 2pm on May 7th at Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant – 1475 Garden Street, Titusville.
