Titusville Area Visitors Council Update – September 2016

The committee is revisiting production of a tradeshow display.  It will provide a branded display of Titusville images for council members to borrow during travel to conferences, events, conventions, etc.  Members will also have the opportunity to purchase a square promoting their own business, which could be inserted into the display when necessary. 

The number of visits to the Chamber’s new website continues to rise.  Visitors are most curious about hotel availability, fun things to do and dining options in the area.  We also have been sending traffic to visitspacecoast.com from the website.  We are expecting Jeanna Wood from the TDC to present about social media marketing at the October 20^th meeting.

Finally, the council is in the process of electing a new board for 2017.  A nominating committee has been formed and nominations will be accepted over the next few weeks.  Election results will be reported at the November meeting.
