Titusville Chamber Announces 2016 Board of Directors
Titusville, February 23, 2016 – The Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2016 Board of Directors.
Led by Chairman of the Board, Carla McRae, Comptroller for BarnLight Electric and CFO for Playalinda Brewing Company, the Executive Committee includes:
- Vice-Chair of Financial Affairs – Donna Trantham of Mr. Submarine and Salad,
- Vice-Chair of Economic Affairs – Robert Jordan of Genesis VII,
- Vice-Chair of Public Affairs – Dawna Thorstad of Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant, and
- Vice-Chair of Legal and Legislative Affairs – Billy Specht of Titusville Family YMCA.
Returning directors on the board include:
- Deborah Blair – Community Credit Union,
- Cecil Cornish – Coldwell Banker Coast Realty,
- Dennis Franklin – Franklin Special Events,
- Michael Powell – Titusville Cocoa Airport Authority,
- Natalie Sellers – Parrish Medical Center,
- Dr. Phil Simpson – Eastern Florida State College, and
- Andrew Weintraub – Health First.
Newly elected and appointed directors include:
- Ron Cummins – Florida Power & Light,
- Todd Hutchinson – Titusville Police Department, and
- Melissa MacCalla – State Farm Robin Fisher Agency.
Liaisons include:
- John Belden – Titusville Area Visitor Council,
- Hank Evans – Canaveral Port Authority,
- Scott Larese – City of Titusville,
- Trudy McCarthy – Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast,
- Danny Treder – Better Business Council, and
- Mike Werner – Space Coast Economic Development Commission.
Installation of the 2016 Board of Directors will take place on March 8th at Playalinda Brewing Company in historic downtown Titusville. The event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres paired with local craft beers in a menu selected by Brewmaster and Certified Cicerone Ron Raike. Admission is $75.00 per person, and space is limited. Admission includes food and unlimited samplings from the wide variety of unique, small batch beers on hand. Wine and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
Corporate Sponsorships are available for $500.00 and include 4 tickets to the events.
