18th Best Place to Live In U.S.? Not bad!

July 14, 2021–Our area jumped 10 spots this year to rank in 18th place of the Best Places to Live in the U.S in 2021-2022, ranked by U.S. News & World Report.  This puts us one spot ahead of Seattle, which we hear is also very nice.

“What makes a place an ideal hometown?” According to the publication, “Happy residents, plenty of job opportunities, great schools and affordable housing are often-cited factors.

Read on for the 25 Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2021. These metro areas offer the best combination of jobs, desirability, cost of living, quality of life and more.”

 

You probably already know this, but when U.S. News says, “Melbourne”, it actually means the entire MSA (metro area of Brevard), so Titusville says “thank you”.

    After ranking No. 28 in 2020, Melbourne jumps 10 spots this year, largely due to its rapid population growth from net migration – and for a job market that sustained itself better than many other metro areas during the pandemic.
