Brevard’s Hotel Tax Collection Sets Record, As Tourism Outlook Looks Positive for Coming Year

November 27, 2019 — Despite a dip in tourism caused by the visit of Hurricane Dorian, Brevard County’s hotels and short-term rentals collected enough room night to set a record.  The Space Coast is a gateway to Orlando, Daytona Beach and areas south.  It’s biggest draws are to Port Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and the Kennedy Space Center.
