Port Canaveral Is Happening In 2020

December 19, 2019 – Here are some exciting things happening at Port Canaveral in 2020:

$163 million Cruise Terminal 3 project to house the Carnival Cruise Line Mardi Gras, the newest and largest in the company’s fleet; estimated completion by mid-May, operational by October
$46 million investment to update the terminals used by Disney Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line
Expansion of Cruise Terminal 5 to allow for larger ships, estimated at $2 million.
$18 million project at Cargo Berth 8 to accommodate heavier cargo, including space and rocket business
$30 million to begin to rebuild North Cargo Piers 3 and 4 to meet future demands.

Port Canaveral has a major economic impact on the Space Coast of $3.9 billion, and is responsible for 32,650 jobs and $1.3 billion in wages.
