Port Canaveral to Expand Parking

August 26, 2023 – Port Canaveral, just to the south of Titusville, is the busiest cruise port in the world, with almost 6 million passengers in the last fiscal year. It’s an impressive statistic and a huge logistical challenge for the Port Authority, smoothly moving all these passengers to their adventures.

The port is working to make sure the passengers who arrive by car will have a better chance of parking near their ship with the construction of two new parking garages on the port property.

Scheduled for completion in 2024, the two new garages will add more than 2,500 spaces to accommodate passengers using cruise terminals 5, 6 and 10.

According to Cruise Lines International Association, passengers spend an average of $750 in port cities. Many visitors elect to stay extra nights before and after the cruise and Titusville, with its space and nature attractions is a high-value choice for the cruising public.

Titusville is nearby and ready to make sure that before they set sail, or after they disembark, land-based fun is available in our city. Great adventures #LaunchFromHere
