Here’s A Great Travel Idea—Space!

Although many of those lucky few who get to enjoy the life of a space tourist are either doing pretty well or have a generous millionaire/billionaire as a friend, there is no telling what space trips may cost in the future. So keep watching the skies.
Right now, you can plop down a few hundred thousand bucks to climb aboard Blue Origin or Virgin Galactic, or drop several hundred million to charter an orbital flight in a SpaceX Dragon Capsule. And the Russian space agency Roscosmos has some room to spare for adventurous folks with the means.
Closer to home, the Space Coast boasts Space Perspective, where you can ride a high-altitude balloon to the edge of space, while enjoying a roomy cabin and a well stocked refreshment center. Here’s a story we ran on this cool way to ascend a while back:

So don’t give up hope. Right now the right stuff is a well stuffed wallet, but if the demand for space tourism continues to grow, then maybe one of these days you may be able to head to orbit for your holiday. That would be out of this world.
