Plenty of Fun in Florida

Says WALLET HUB, it’s no surprise that Florida is known for its beaches. But did you know it’s also one of America’s most fun states to live in?

According to WalletHub, while we may all define “fun” a bit differently, the Sunshine State ranked as America’s most fun state behind California — making it No. 2.

“With pure enjoyment in mind, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 26 key indicators of a jolly good time that won’t break the bank,” WalletHub explained on its website.

Florida ranking : 58.21 right behind California’s 61.57. Third ranking state: New York, followed by Washington, Colorado and Nevada.

What helped Florida’s ranking?: 3 way tie for #1 for most restaurants per capita; tie for #1 in most marinas per capita; #3 for golf courses and country clubs per capita, #4 for most fitness centers per capita. What brought down the ranking? No skiing facilities in Florida. LOL

Aside from ranking states, WalletHub also ranked the most fun cities in America. Our next door neighbor, Orlando, ranked No. 2.
