Dragon Mission to ISS: SpaceX launches its first refurbished Dragon cargo ship to the Space Station SpaceX’s 11th NASA contracted Dragon cargo capsule lifted off for the International Space Station on Saturday with nearly 6,000 pounds of crew supplies and scientific experiments. Starliner Testing: Boeing employs test dummies on Starliner safety trials Boeing has borrowed a page from the automotive industry in using test dummies to evaluate seating aboard the CST-100 Starliner, which is currently in development under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Evaluations are underway at Boeing facilities in Mesa, Arizona. Spaceflight tests are anticipated for next year.
Dream Chaser Milestone: Dream Chaser passes major CRS-2 review milestone, next flight test nears Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser has reached a development milestone under NASA’s International Space Station Commercial Resupply Services-2 contract. Both NASA and the FAA joined to assess all stages of the winged Dream Chaser’s flight profile. The company is one of three selected by NASA to deliver cargo to the space station between 2019 and 2024, and the only one capable of landing on a runway.
Citizens for Space Exploration – a pro-space, taxpayer, grassroots advocacy group

In order to sustain that dialogue on a regular basis, Citizens distributes “Space Exploration Update” to Congressional offices on a weekly basis. The intent is to provide an easy, quick way to stay abreast of key human space exploration program and policy developments.
