Crew-7 SpaceX Launch Blasts Off
August 26, 2023 – It was the wee small hours of the morning, but that did nothing to hamper the launch of the SpaceX Crew 7 mission. With a mighty roar heard throughout Titusville and lighting the sky at 3:27 a.m. earlier today, the four astronauts on board represent four different space agencies and are set to visit the International Space Station for a six-month stay.
The crewmembers are NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, Endurance’s commander; the European Space Agency‘s Andreas Mogensen, from Denmark, who will serve as pilot; and Satoshi Furukawa and Konstantin Borisov, of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and the Russian space agency Roscosmos, respectively. Furukawa and Borisov will be mission specialists on Crew-7.
