March 7, 2023 – Relativity Space’s first launch of TERRAN 1, “Good Luck, Have Fun” (GLHF), is scheduled for March 8, 2023 from Cape Canaveral Space Force’s Launch Complex 16. The launch window opens at 1:00 PM ET. This is the first orbital attempt for TERRAN 1.

TERRAN 1 is the largest 3D printed object to exist and to attempt orbital flight. It is a two-stage rocket standing 110 feet tall and 7.5 foot wide and is currently 85% 3D printed. Relativity engines are entirely 3D printed, and use liquid oxygen and liquid natural gas.

You can get a great view of the launch included with admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and enjoy some space history at the same time.

If you can’t make it to the Visitor Complex tomorrow, check out our map to select one of the great viewing sites around Titusville. Launch Complex 16 is not notated on our map, but it is located just south of Launch Complex 37.  View these other maps to help plan your visit to this great area for fun before or after the launch. Because launches can be delayed for weather or technical reasons, look for the latest status on SpaceCoastLaunches.com.
