Gaedcke Is Big In Japan

April 21, 2021 – We all know that Marcia Gaedcke, President of the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce, is an international woman of mystery (the mystery being, how does she accomplish so much? Does she never sleep?), but she also is happy to jump in when the news crews from around the world drop by.

One of the four crew members of the SpaceX and NASA launch this week (currently set for Friday) is Akihiko Hoshide with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. Launching an astronaut into space is always news and TV Ashahi America, an affiliate of the nationwide news network in Japan, is in Titusville to cover the action.

Naturally, the news crew wanted the straight story on Titusville and so they interviewed Gaedcke for all the latest information. It’s just another day at work for Gaedcke, who often finds herself in the interview chair to make sure folks around the world get the unvarnished truth.

You could run into Gaedcke herself, or one of the other fine representatives of Titusville, if you stop by the WELCOME CENTER in downtown Titusville…OPEN ALL NIGHT before the launch in the wee hours of Friday morning.  Light refreshments (available for purchase, including fresh brewed coffee) and illuminating conversation will be served.
