NASA’s Artemis Team Returning to the Moon

December 15, 2020 – Our part of Florida is called the Space Coast and many of us have been lucky enough to watch as astronauts have achieved one milestone after another in pursuit of exploration.  This next step is one of the most exciting yet.

NASA introduces THE ARTEMIS TEAM, the men and women who are the core group of astronauts leading the way back to the lunar surface and from there to other planets.

Astronauts have always been the “best of the best”, the ones with the right stuff. These are the ones with the courage, the will, the knowledge, and the physical prowess to do the things we all dream about, to represent us in this journey.

The goal is to put the first woman and the next man on the moon by 2024.  The lessons learned will be used to push farther with the next trek being to Mars.
