Space Shuttle Atlantis at Kennedy Space Center

The Space Shuttle Atlantis is on spectacular display at nearby Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center.

October 4, 2022 – Rub elbows with some VIPs from the Space Industry at KSC.

On Oct 10 at 9 a.m. join Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in participating in this year’s World Space Week, which is celebrating “space and sustainability”. On Monday, October 10, guests can step into the bottom of Space Shuttle Atlantis® to engage with NASA’s space and industry partners – including Sierra Space, ISS National Lab, Jacobs, Blue Origin and more – to hear about how they’re helping change the world as we know it. Plus, enjoy special presentations, vibrant displays, and educational hands-on activities all included with admission.

Started in 1999 by the United Nations, World Space Week celebrates science and technology internationally and its contributions to the betterment of human life, which is celebrated each year from October 4 – 10.
