1. Hop on a bike! Our vast multi-use trails are fun and take you through nature, by the most biodiverse lagoon in the entire northern hemisphere, parks, farms, the White Sands Buddhist Center and more! Rent a bike at Coast to Coast Bicycle Company located in the Titusville Welcome Center and also get a map.
2. Visit the American Space Museum! This is education hidden in an awesome spot because each room has something interactive for kids to touch. This activity is also great on a rainy day!
3. Paddle out on a Kayak! See all kinds of wildlife as you weave through Florida’s natural habitat. Bonus Tip: In July through October, you can experience bioluminescence where the water actually glows!
4. Visit the Kennedy Space Center! Need I say more? The space center is an incredible experience, you can even have lunch with an astronaut. You will need more than one day here if you want to experience everything the center has to offer.
5. Attend Red, White and BOOM over North Brevard 4th of July celebration. This is a free fun-filled celebration with live music, vendors, family activities and a fabulous fireworks show at 9:15PM.
6. Visit Historic Downtown Titusville! Come visit the Historical Museum that is free to all guests, grab lunch, go shopping, see a play or grab a yummy treat – Ice Cream anyone?
7. Experience the Canaveral National Seashore! Check the largest uninhabited beach in all of Florida off your list and see why many people say it is their favorite beach! Pro Tip: Summer Time is Turtle Nesting Season. Contact the Seashore to see about setting up a nighttime turtle watch!
8. Cool off at the Splash Pad! Sand Point Park offers a free splash pad that is sure to be a hit during your family vacation.
9. Visit the Warbird Air Museum! A hanger full of airplanes that you can actually touch and go inside? Look no further. They also have fly in/drive in breakfast the 2nd Saturday of Each month!
10. Immerse yourself in nature at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge! Visit the Visitors Center to find the best trails and get a map. Our favorite? Black Point Wildlife Drive – a 7-mile drive through nature where you can see alligators, birds and other fantastic wildlife.
