We #Launch From Here

launch

A night launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 is always an impressive sight.

This is a great place to live. It’s a great place to visit, too. Titusville on Florida’s Famed Space Coast is on many bucket lists.

Adventures of all kinds are easy to find here and most people who visit notice that the area is packed with space history. Often they also get a taste for the thrills of space exploration as it exists today right here. The SpaceX launch on September 15th is a great example, when the first-ever crew of civilian astronauts started a three-day orbital flight.

Rockets take off from Launch Complexes on Kennedy Space Center, within viewing distance of Historic Downtown Titusville.  And in fact walking to a launch viewing site is a happy routine for many locals.  Of course, like any place, we residents know some secrets about viewing, and many of us have special spots we prefer.

The Space Shuttle Atlantis is on spectacular display at nearby Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center.

We don’t mind sharing the information. We want everyone to be part of this great space exploration tradition and love launch days like we do.
