Join the City of Titusville in celebrating Earth Day with the grand opening of the Space View Park Pedestrian Pier, on April 22, 2024  from 11am until 2pm. Take home a free tree sapling (limited supply available) and grab a bite to eat from one of the four food trucks – DonutNV, Heavenly Seafood, Vibes the Fruit Spot and Space Coast Gourmet Tater Tots. There will also be many environmental booths including UF-IFAS Brevard Chapter, The Brevard Zoo, The East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, and the Water Resource Department so we can all learn to become stewards of the environment.

The Walkway Pedestrian Pier is a 200-foot walking pier that connects Space View Gemini and Mercury Parks across an inlet of the Indian River Lagoon. With a great view of the lagoon and as a perfect spot to watch launches from across the water, the pier is sure to be a city favorite.

The pier includes benches and lighting along the entirety of the span. Construction began in in January 2024 and was completed in April, as part of the Titusville Community Redevelopment Agency’s goal to connect parks and provide waterfront and viewing access for residents and visitors, and was approved by the Titusville City Council.
