LAUNCH YOUR BUSINESS

Get Involved: Events

In addition to our councils and committees, the Titusville Chamber programs a robust calendar of regularly occurring events and activities focused on promoting our members. Additionally, we host strategic annual special events to put our members in the spotlight.

Please note that our recurring meetings and events occur January through November. We suspend regular activities during the month of December because of the hectic holiday schedule.

Membership Luncheon – this monthly event occurs on the second Wednesday of each month rotates between locations, and is designed to give you the opportunity to make new contacts and inform you about issues and opportunities that are relevant to your business. The meetings begin at noon, and almost always conclude by 1:00 p.m. and feature a rotation of high profile speakers, including local community leaders in community and economic development, and local, state, and federal elected officials. The cost for members is $20.00 with advance reservations or $25.00 on the day of the event. Prospective members are also welcome to attend for $25.00.

Business Connections – expect a whirlwind of 60-second presentations at our monthly “leads” meetings. Bring your business cards and practice your pitch, but also come ready to listen and really begin to build relationships with other local businesses. This is also a great meeting to visit if you are considering membership. Our generous sponsors provide lunch and so there is no cost to attend. You have to eat lunch, so why not use the time to grow your business.
Titusville Business Connection – First Friday of each month at the Harry T. Moore Social Service Center – Noon
Port St. John Business Connection – Third Friday of each month at the Port St. John Library – Noon

Marketing Your Business Online – one of the biggest challenges our small businesses and sole proprietors face is tackling online promotion. To help with that, we have introduced a monthly workshop series that includes quick tips from the experts at Blue Shift Web Services on various online marketing options as well as how to leverage them to benefit your business. The workshops are held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the Titusville Chamber.

On Target with SCORE – keeping up with the latest information related to your business can be challenging, and getting out of the office for workshops and seminars can be difficult. That’s why we offer a monthly seminar event to bring the knowledge directly to you.  Held the third Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. topics range from social media campaigns, to generating more referrals, to leveraging technology in your small business and beyond. Annual Events

Holiday Open House – on the first Tuesday of December, the chamber offices open the doors to usher in the holiday season. Hundreds of people flow through the building, enjoying fellowship and delectable food and drinks. This event also helps our Christmas Angel campaign because although there is no cost to attend, we encourage the donation of new, unwrapped toys so that we can help make sure every child in our community is able to experience the wonder and magic of the holidays. This event is generously underwritten by our Chairman’s Circle Investors.

Signature Events

Taste of Titusville – this is one of the most anticipated events of the year in North Brevard. We combine a traditional business expo with a food tasting event and it packs the venue! More than 100 local businesses participate and showcase their products and services. Attendance is conservatively estimated at 2500. Why is it hard to tell? Because we do not charge an admission fee. We do, however, charge for a tasting ticket if you want to sample the offerings from our food vendors, which usually number greater than 25. We feed consumers not only a sampling of the culinary options in our area, but also a taste of the diverse array of businesses that call North Brevard home.

Networking on the Green – golf is the obvious sport aligned with a business organization, so it’s no wonder we hold an annual golf tournament. Although we award first, second and third place in this tournament, it is really more fun than competition. Through the generosity of sponsors, we provide complimentary beverages and snacks on the course, as well as a travelling cigar cart. There are lots of opportunities to engage with the more than 100 players that participate, and sponsorship levels for every budget.
