A WORLD CLASS ATTRACTION

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a world class attraction that continues to astound, and most visitors can never get enough of the Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit, with an impressive digitally mapped video introduction that is alone worth the trip. Visit Gateway — the newest attraction — the future of exploration. Follow this with a visit to Heroes & Legends and really get acquainted with the pioneering men and women who flew.

You may want to sign up for special “BEHIND THE GATE” bus tours including to the Vehicle Assembly Building, one of the largest buildings in the world by volume, or to the Apollo/Saturn V Center where you stand under the gigantic Saturn V, the largest rocket ever flown, and strap into the Shuttle Launch Experience.

Whatever you choose, consider arriving by 9am, the time KSC Visitor Complex opens every day of the year, and while you’re here be sure to snap a selfie in the historic Rocket Garden. Plan ahead here:  KennedySpaceCenter.com/explore-attractions.

HEAR THE ROAR

Depending on your timing, you may want to add a rocket launch to your day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex–an unforgettable experience that includes close-up views, and bleacher seating—all with visitor complex admission.

MORE SPACE

Pass the time before launch in Historic Downtown Titusville. Explore the American Space Museum, across the street from the Downtown Welcome Center, then walk over to Space View Park and watch the launch surrounded by monuments dedicated to our country’s space exploration past and the men and women who made it all happen.

There are so many places to pick to watch a launch.  It’s so much fun finding your own special spot and likely meeting new friends just as excited to be there.
