Rebooting In Titusville. New Opportunities. New Rules. New Normal.

Things YOU CAN DO to Visit Safely

Although travel restrictions around the Coronavirus pandemic have loosened, most of our businesses are still operating under some sort of restrictions.

Enhanced safety measures are in place across the Space Coast and include increased sanitatization processes, physical distancing, and capacity limitations. All of this is in an effort to protect our citizens and our welcomed visitors. We encourage you to call ahead for specific information about your desired destination – many places have modified hours, limited access and availability – so plan before you arrive.

You can contact the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce at 321-267-3036 or info@titusville.org if you would like assistance in planning your itinerary.

We also ask you to embrace the  ideas in our Responsible Travel Pledge – and help us protect our assets for future visitors – and the people who are lucky enough to live here.

Roam Responsibly. I will explore thoughtfully and responsibly, maintaining the utmost respect for everyone and everything I encounter.

Educate Myself. I will do my research before traveling, familiarizing myself with local regulations and community concerns, which may have changed over time.

Safety First. I will follow public health directives from government officials, including social distancing measures. I will take all necessary steps to minimize health risks to myself and others and stay home if I’m sick.

Preserve Florida. I will protect and nurture our pristine outdoor spaces and cultural places, by maintaining a light footprint at every turn and paying special attention to delicate ecosystems.

Embrace Community. I will support local businesses and do my part to ensure the long-term prosperity of the places I visit.

Celebrate Culture. I will immerse myself in the diverse local cultures and embrace the traditions and practices I encounter.

Teach Others. I will lead by example and share these practices with fellow travelers, acknowledging that we all share the responsibility to protect Florida, California, and every one of our glorious states, parks and our people.

Thank you, and be safe.

We want to thank the Visit California pros for the inspiration for this initiative.  Their commitment to responsible travel is a model, and we have patterned our Responsible Travel Pledge after theirs.
