Converging Trails Map, shows that three trails converge in Titusville: The Coast to Coast from St Pete on the west coast to Playalinda Beach on the East Coast of Florida, the St Johns River to Sea Loop north and back around and through 5 Florida Counties, and the East Coast Greenway, which goes from Maine to Key West

The City of Titusville has embraced the concept of redeveloping as a “Trail Town” and received the official Florida Trail Town designation.

The Coast to Coast Trail: 250 miles cross state from St Pete to Playalinda Beach when complete
The St Johns River to Sea Loop Trail: 260 miles through 5 counties in Florida
The East Coast Greenway: 3000 miles from Maine to Key West

How will we grow? 5.4 miles of the trail will be completely off system, traversing through natural Florida habitats. As the trail system continues to grow, it will connect into the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, known for its birding and conservation work, and the Canaveral National Seashore, home to an extensive sea turtle conservation program.

What does it mean for Florida families? Multi-use trails provide families with the opportunity for recreation, increased mobility and an area to exercise.

How will our local trails help connect the entire state, what role does it play? This trail serves as an essential connection on three regional trails and will add to the state’s interconnectivity of safe pedestrian and bicycle features.

How will it help economic growth? Regional trails offer the opportunity for economic redevelopment and increased tourism, with the potential to draw cyclists, pedestrians, and equestrians into the North Brevard area who may invest in the area via local businesses and restaurants.

How does it advance our state reputation as a destination? Part of three regional trails, this increases the reputation of the state as a destination by offering another attraction to families, cyclists, hikers, equestrians and more.
