Cyclers’ Paradise
January 26, 2021 – Titusville’s reputation as a paradise for pedaling enthusiasts continues to grow. This group of happy bikers was spotted recently at the Welcome Center in downtown Titusville, where they were prepping for a ride on our beautiful trails through “Old Florida” to Osteen.
This bunch was indulging in the attention of Bubba’s Pampered Pedalers, a national tour operator who takes care of all the details, so participants can genuinely enjoy the trails. Bikes and gear are transported to the starting point in the morning, with unique tours each day. (These conveyances are called “SAG Wagons” in the argot of the cyclers and can be a very welcome sight when needed.)
Bubba’s Pampered Pedalers has been bringing groups to Titusville for five years in a row, with one of the main reasons being the great trail systems that converge here. Add in attractions like Kennedy Space Center and the beaches and you can see why folks from places like Michigan, Indiana and Chicago love to visit in January. Have you stood on Lake Shore Drive in winter and had the artic blast hit you coming off the lake? Believe me, you would wish you were in Florida, too.
Bikers can learn all sorts of useful information along with detailed maps online and at the Welcome Center and nature lovers can look forward to a ride through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Titusville is the ONLY place where these three major multi-use trails converge.
Since Titusville was designated an official Florida Trail Town, bikers have been flocking to the area. It’s easy to see why: three major trails converge on the city. The Coast-to-Coast Trail is a 250-mile route from St. Pete to Titusville, the St. Johns River-to-Sea loops 260 miles through five counties, and the East Coast Greenway is a 3,000 mile trail stretching from Maine to Key West when complete, with Titusville an excellent stop on the way.

Enjoy the weather, the food and the unhurried pace that will give you the chance to breathe and see sights that you might miss in a more frenzied mode of transportation. Reboot in Titusville.
